A new beginning

After months of preparation, all night marathon coding, and what seems to be at least 1,000 design revisions, we’ve launched edopter into Beta. We’ve already gotten a ton of great feedback, over 80 trends launched on the site, and a ton of active and diverse edopters (Where did you guys all come from? We haven’t even publicized this yet!) We’re working on some final pieces to the puzzle for the remainder of the month, but you’ll soon have access to some amazing new features (there’s a sneak peek of one in the “In Depth” page on each trend).

Some people have asked us what the points will be used for. We’ve spent the past month talking to some awesome companies to set you up with exclusive gear and opportunities that will be available in the upcoming Showcase (and some edopter shwag too!) Leave your money in your wallet, all you’ll need is points! 

This project has been an incredible journey. We both gave up great jobs to risk it on our own, but have learned more in the past 6 months than a steady paycheck in a corner office could ever have taught us. For those of you thinking about building your own startup, do it! For those of you already doing it, especially in New York City, email us! We’d love see what you are up to.
